SOON, ALL WILL BE ONE UNDER SQUAT. EVEN YOU.
We update the website biweekly, print monthly, and accept article, graphic, and puzzle submissions at any time.

The Botetourt Squat publishes an absurd variety of content, all of which can be sent to us at [email protected]. If you're sending us an article, make sure it's between 250 and 500 words (we'll allow a little fudging, but don't send us your novel.) Make sure you include a fancy pseudonym! You'll still be credited in our staff section (on this website, under ABOUT up at that header.)
If you're interested in sending us visual art (comics, illustrations, memes, anything you consume with your eyeballs), just send it to that same email. Videos require a little more planning, so send us a short pitch first and we'll give you the go-ahead.
Our style guidelines are... extremely... loose, as you can probably guess. Make whatever bizarre content you like! The only thing we ask is that you don't send us content that's racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or bigoted in any other way that may not be mentioned here. If you do, we will quickly reject it, and possibly beat you up.

Join The Staff:
Hang out with us! Be our friend! We know how to vibe, and half of us have never even written an article.
We have weekly meetings on Thursdays at 7pm and do social events, writers rooms, and production nights throughout the semester. The best way to get in touch with us during THE (post) PANDEMIC ERA is to join our email list. From there, you will be in the know for meetings, social events, and sent information to join the Discord.
